With a passion for people and homes, Melanie is a natural for property management; her confident and friendly manner, exceptional organizational skills and effective use of time management have earned Melanie an esteemed reputation among her clients and previous employers.

This former hospitality manager has brought with her all of the interpersonal and problem solving skills that she honed within that challenging industry and has effectively applied them to the various positions she has held in property management ever since.

Having ultimately chosen real estate as her preferred career path, the last 8 years has seen her build her experience across the broad range of tasks that make up a day in the life of a property manager. Her no nonsense attitude and approach to the difficulties encountered in maintenance issues,  dispute resolutions at tribunal hearings and controlling rent arrears all bodes well with the position and duties she has been assigned with at Cameo.

Melanie took a short sabbatical when she made the decision to start a family and is delighted to be back in “the thick of things” now that young Lilly is a delightful and independent two year old. And although she is a first time mum, Melanie has found the perfect balance between family and work commitments, a testament of those time management attributes.

Originally from the central Coast in NSW, Melanie spent her 8 years in real estate whilst residing in Sydney, working in various disciplines before pursuing a lifestyle change which led her and her partner to the Gold Coast in August 2007.  Her diverse real estate background stood her in good stead here and she took up similar positions with local agencies until finding her way to Cameo’s door through the introduction of one of the Cameo team members.

Those rare spare moments that Melanie finds outside of her busy schedule will see her in the park or taking a walk with her gorgeous daughter or taking the time whilst her poppet is sleeping to catch up on current & world affairs or reading the latest release from her favorite authors.

They say that “if you want something done, give it to a busy woman”….well that is our Melanie…so Cameo’s clients will always be assured of their interests being cared for and protected with Melanie in charge.
