Since Jean became property manager of our apartment in Hope Island, the service provided by her has been excellent. On two occasions now, I have met Jean on site to inspect our investment property. She arrives on time, has previously arranged access to the property, and the inspections are carried out in a professional manner.

To whom it may concern – My name is Kerry Woods and I reside in Auckland New Zealand. I have been dealing with Jean Poland at Lambert Smollen (now Cameo) for some 5 years now. I have a small unit in the Hope Island area that is rented out on a permanent basis and Jean manages this for me. I have had several tenants over this period that Jean has selected for me and she has proved to be a very good judge of character. I have never had any tenant issues as a result and tenants have always stayed long term.
 

Jean’s management of my unit has been exemplary – keeping a regular check on maintenance and housekeeping and keeping me advised if there are any problems. She is always aware of what is happening in the rental market and without any prompting has always managed to improve my rental income whenever there has been a chance to do so.
 

My rental payments are always on time as are the monthly statements covering the rent and outgoings. In addition to that Jean sends me their monthly flier and real estate guide which I find very useful.

We first met Ms Jean Poland in mid 2006 as a neighbour living at ‘The Reserve’ in Oxenford. When we decided to move to the Sunshine Coast in early 2007, we were happy to appoint Jean as the manager of our Oxenford property.
 

Jeanhas taken a particularly close interest in our property, inspecting and reporting regularly, and efficiently handling all property management matters. In addition Jean has been wonderfully helpful in overseeing the installation of our water tank and our receipt of the associated Council rebate, and arranging the biennial Timber Pest inspection and re-injection.
 

Finally, when a tenant left the property in a less than satisfactory condition and refused to pay for the necessary cleaning, Jean referred the matter to the Small Claims Tribunal, was effective in gaining an order for the tenant to make the payment, and followed up to ensure the payment was made within the laid down time frame.
 

Jean’s dependable attitude, industrious application and personable nature have indeed made it a pleasure doing business with her and her employer. We have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending Jean Poland to any owner seeking a competent and professional property manager.

We purchased an investment property in 2006 when we had holiday at Gold Coast. At the beginning we were very concerned about how to manage property as we reside in Sydney, and had also heard a lot about the damages to property an irresponsible agent could do. As a way to settle our worries, we decided to visit the property each year to make sure everything was as it should be. However, two years passed and we haven’t been the Gold Coast once since then because Jean - our property manager has been providing excellent service.
 

The property is well looked after in her hands. The tenant was chosen very carefully, the very detailed half yearly inspection reports provide the most updated information about the property and also with suggestions about further improvement or repair. Prior to the rental contract renewal, Jean does not just send us the contract to sign but also provides us with information about the local rental market for our decision-making. We are very happy to have Jean as our property manager.

We had moved to the Gold Coast from Sydney and so were not too familar with the area when we met Jean. We were looking for an investment property and Jean was very efficient and professional from the outset- agreeing to show us the property the same day and then demonstrating a good knowlege of the complex where we were looking at an apartment in.

We ended up purchasing the apartment through Jean and throughout the whole process she was great - Jean was enthusiastic, helpful, upfront and honest without being pushy or overbearing. We really appreciated Jeans gentle, calm and diligent nature that instilled confidence and trust for her in us.
 

After purchase we were really happy to have Jean manage the property for us because she exhibited such a sound knowledge of the area and complex in general.
